After spending more than a decade in healthcare as both an operations leader and a senior human resources professional. October connects her experiences and her passion through a commitment to leaving people and places better than she found them. She supports her clients by fostering conversations and providing tools of empowerment to allow them and their teams to have a voice - their own authentic voice.

 October’s diversity of work includes the for-profit arena with Comcast Cable, quasi-government experience with The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, healthcare with Ochsner Health, and most recent nonprofit experience with Center on Rural Innovation (CORI). Her roles in various organizations and settings all contribute to her innovative problem-solving and critical thinking and ultimately led to her launching Art of Career to assist organizations and individuals to be successful transition in the people operations space or individual careers.

October holds a BS in Human Resources Management and a MA in Human Development from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She holds certifications as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and leadership program facilitation through Korn Ferry and Development Dimensions International (DDI). October is a graduate of the Inaugural Women’s Leadership Academy at Loyola University New Orleans and adjunct lecturer with Tulane University.
